Conrad Wagner is Mobility Designer at Mobility Systems in Switzerland. He is responsible for developing concepts, plans and business models to ensure that shared mobility services, automated vehicles and other emerging transportation technologies support the smartCity goals.
Prior to joining Mobility Systems, he founded CarSharing Business in Switzerland, Germany and the USA. He worked as a consultant helping transportation agencies around the world plan for new mobility services, transportation technologies and address challenging issues such as mobility start-ups, mobility hubs, mobility centers & mobility management (platform economy), CarSharing, RideSharing, RideHailing (sharing economy), social inclusion, electric vehicle readiness, autonomous vehicles (bot economy) and climate action.
Conrad teaches at University of Luzern Switzerland (HSLU) and Zurich-Winterthur Switzerland (ZHAW). In addition, he takes place as board member for tourism and energy. He served 2006-2019 in the parliament at Canton Nidwalden (state-level), Switzerland and was president of the Canton of Nidwalden 2015-2016.
