After completing hotel management school and a year's experience as a chef at the Bahnhofbuffet 1st class in Zurich, Isidor Wallimann studied agriculture, economics and sociology in the USA. He taught there as an assistant and visiting professor at various universities. In Switzerland, he lectured at the FHNW and at the Universities of Bern and Fribourg. Many of his book publications can be downloaded free of charge.
