Roman Kaiser

Fragrance chemist, Uster ZH

Roman Kaiser studied chemistry at the Technikum Winterthur and worked as a fragrance chemist at the Givaudan research centre in Dübendorf near Zurich from 1968 to 2011. His work focussed on the study and reconstitution of natural fragrances that were otherwise inaccessible. Many of the natural fragrances he reconstituted have been used in internationally recognised fragrance creations. In 2012, he was awarded the Dr Rudolf Maag Prize for his research in the field of natural fragrances.
