Philipp Kuntze

Interior designer, founder of World Crafts, director of the Ballenberg course centre, Bern

Philipp Kuntze is a trained interior designer and has worked in various Swiss furniture shops and design companies. The 47-year-old has specialised in high-quality materials for interior design. In 2013, he founded his own agency, Qn'C, which sells handcrafted furniture and lighting and develops interior design concepts. Three years ago, Kuntze launched the non-profit organisation 'World Crafts', which is committed to promoting international craftsmanship. Since the organisation was founded, around 50 events have been held on various craft themes. He was co-curator of the Swiss Pavilion at the International Craft Biennale Cheongju, Korea 2017. He is a member of the European Federation for Architectural Heritage Skills. Since January 2019, Philipp Kuntze has been Managing Director of the Heimatwerkschule Ballenberg Foundation and Head of the Ballenberg Course Centre.
