Apartment Mühlenberg

The townhouse from 1899, situated in a wonderful location in the St. Alban neighbourhood, now houses four flats with a view of the Rhine. After Blaser Architekten had already converted all the flats on the upper floors in the last 20 years, the ageing, rather small flat on the ground floor has now also been converted as part of the refurbishment.

The apartment is accessed via the internal staircase. The living room was enlarged by relocating the bathroom to the part of the flat that is partially underground. The two small bedrooms were combined into one large room with a built-in dressing room. The existing windows were doubled in size and the floors were fitted with oak parquet flooring, thus preserving the original atmosphere of the house.
