Hasenrain residential estate

A high-quality residential development was built in the villa neighbourhood of Binningen. Blaser Architekten AG, together with two other architectural firms, were invited to take part in a study, from which our project emerged as the winning project in a second phase.

The plot, which has a floor area of just over 3,000 m2, slopes steeply to the north and offers a wonderful view of Basel and the Rhine Valley. The main concept of the development is based on a division of the building volume into four structures with a total of 24 rental flats in the high-end segment. By turning the buildings and positioning them at different heights, the building volume is contextually structured and all flats are offered a good view of the city.

The spacious residential complex is characterised by a prestigious appearance, exciting visual references and a variety of outdoor spaces tailored to the surroundings with a central courtyard as the focal point.
