The ground floor and lower ground floor of Steinenvorstadt 79 in Basel were remodelled for the installation of the shop. A generous display window allows passers-by to see inside. The brochure shelves in the centre of the shop stand freely in the space. The shelves have been grouped together to form an 'island' via the change of flooring and the offset illuminated ceiling, which guides the customer on a tour of the space. Large-format murals put customers in a travelling mood. To book, customers can choose between full service and quick advice or book themselves on site via the Internet. In addition to the holiday offers, there is a reading corner with travel literature. The furniture, brochure shelves and murals are coordinated in terms of materials, colours and themes, creating an atmospheric ambience. The shop is bright, spacious and open-plan.
