In autumn 2010, Blaser Architekten were given the opportunity to work on the ambitious 'Ressort Andermatt Swiss Alps' project near Andermatt in the canton of Uri. With the stately 'Haus am Marktplatz', the 'Casa Mercatore', Blaser Architekten were able to develop a project with twenty holiday flats and a retail floor. The aim was to respond to the client's needs in a precisely formulated development plan and, despite the scale and artificially generated surroundings, to convey an attractive and effective image of Alpine architecture.
