For a major healthcare company in the Basel region, we acted as general planners in collaboration with Blaser Butscher Architekten to plan and realise a highly sensitive B-laboratory with a PET facility, radiochemistry, secure BSL-2 laboratories, animal husbandry, office workstations, a video conference room and a separate technical centre for the laboratory area. There was hardly any best practice worldwide for this type of laboratory, which is why we worked intensively with a large team of specialist planners and specialists as well as the client's users.

The laboratory aims to research and develop certain types of cancer using an innovative approach. Cancer cells are irradiated in a targeted and precise manner without affecting healthy cells, which enables greater efficiency.‍
