Blaser Architekten were commissioned to upgrade the property at Mittlere Strasse 54 (built in 1976) and make optimum use of the plot. This will be achieved with an attractive extension wing on the existing car park. The one-bedroom flats in the existing building will be extended to create three or four-bedroom flats and the gap between the two buildings on Friedensgasse will be completely closed.

The extension was given a modern appearance and set apart from the surrounding buildings. Six attractive flats with fully glazed façades and open-plan living spaces were created. The spacious floor plans are complemented by attractive outdoor spaces in the form of terraces, landscaped forecourts or a private garden.
