The commercial building from the 1930s and 1960s with individual offices and laboratories was remodelled on the fifth floor for the American chemical company Huntsman. More specifically, the existing office structure was opened up and modernised. Most of the existing cellular offices were converted into multi-space offices for the 125 employees of the Advanced Materials division at the Basel site.

In addition to the new multi-space, a new cafeteria, kitchenettes and lounge areas were also created. The main focus of the remodelling was to open up the space and provide natural light to the inner, previously built-up zones. The result was a spacious, bright working environment, which Huntsman was able to move into after a six-month construction period.
