Blaser Architekten were commissioned by SBB Immobilien to develop a construction project for the renovation of apartment blocks 91-95, with the aim of bringing the quality of living up to current rental flat standards by providing attractive and contemporary facilities.

The properties, built in 1965, were designed by architect Walter Senn as pure leca concrete buildings. The interior walls have a static function and so only on the attic floor were flats (5 1/2 rooms) realised. The remaining storeys are made up of 3 1/2 and 4 room flats. A total of 127 flats were renovated in three construction phases.
