A separate pavilion was added to the existing detached single-family house from the 1930s. After a transitional period of a few years in which it serves as an extended living space and retreat, it can serve the client as an independent retirement home. In contrast to the existing house, the new building is single-storey and, with a living space of 65 m2, has a bedroom and work area, a living area, a kitchen and a bathroom.

The pavilion was built in prefabricated timber construction on a basement concreted on site. The new building draws its hot water and heating from the old building. A 3 kWp photovoltaic system on the new flat roof supplies the pavilion with energy.
