In 1864, architect J.J. Stehlin built two identical villas with shared park grounds for two families who were friends of his in the up-and-coming villa district of Gellert. Following a usage study, the project was developed with a private bank as the future tenant, under the supervision of historic preservationists.

The conversion and renovation work included the extension of the screed, the installation of a separate access system with a lift for three parties, new wet areas and bank-specific rooms, and the renovation of the building envelope. The concept consisted of multi-party use with representative premises, restoring the original quality of the building, with new components representing modern additions and fixtures.
