SFH Witterswil

The single-storey detached house on the edge of the building zone in Witterswil was ready for occupation in January 2012. In addition to the usual living areas, it has a slightly lower studio. The living and dining area is very open-plan and, like the studio, faces the U-shaped enclosed courtyard. To the east, the house has a more closed back, which houses the more private rooms and the garage. The higher structure was built in exposed concrete, while the lower volume is clad in dark-coloured panels.

The house was built to the Minergie standard and equipped with controlled ventilation. Energy is generated by means of a heat pump heating system with geothermal probes. A photovoltaic system is planned for the roof.
