Medartis expansions

In 2009, we built a new production area and offices in Stücki Park for the medical technology company Medartis AG. Since then, the company's headquarters have been located at this site.

The company's premises extend over two buildings and previously covered a total area of around 7,000 m2, of which around 4,000 m2 was used for production.

The extensions were developed in close co-operation with the operators from research and development. The expansion of the production areas on the 3rd floor of Building D has been in operation since February 2017.

From July 2018, various installations and conversions were again carried out on levels 1, 4, 5 and 7 in buildings D and E over a total usable area of approx. 2,500 m2. This involved the installation of 3 printer systems, offices, storage and the expansion of the cafeteria. In addition, a clean room was installed on an area of 600m2 in accordance with the latest standards, which is used for sealing and labelling the titanium implants for delivery to hospitals and doctors. In order to make optimum use of the limited space available, an external wall with windows was integrated into the cleanroom. The windows were specially sealed and screwed together for this purpose.

The existing structures in terms of access, sanitary facilities, etc. were retained.
